Saddlebag Support for Mitch
Built March 2010 by Garrett Belmont
Our friend Mitch, of Nine Mile Images, in Syracuse requested a saddlebag support like the one we made for my Panasonic. I adjusted the design to suit the smaller frame size.
Before welding.
After welding.
I used AutoCAD to double check the fit against a photo provided by Mitch. From this image one can see a 90-deg support may have constricted the large saddlebag. Although not as obvious, the support I made for the Panasonic is also not 90-deg. When mounted it appears closer to 90 - an unexpected optical illusion.
